Service Description

ADOS-2 and ADI-r (3 hours total) for those 19 + This service is also available in Portuguese. This booking date is for the face-to-face ADOS-2 assessment only (2 hours). The price covers both assessments. Your will be contacted by our psychologist to book the ADI-r assessment (1 hour), which can be delivered online. Payment plans are available through Payitmonthly - up to 12 monthly payments, 0% interest, £150 deposit. Please contact us to book in manually. What to Expect from Your Autism Assessment: Our adult autism assessment is a two-part process designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of autism-related traits and experiences. ADOS-2: The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) is a structured, interactive assessment conducted in a one-on-one setting with a trained clinician. This session involves a series of structured tasks, discussions, and prompts designed to assess social communication, interaction, and behavioral patterns. The ADOS-2 is not a traditional test with right or wrong answers—it is an observational tool that helps us understand your natural responses in different social scenarios. We adapt the session to your communication style and comfort level, ensuring a relaxed and supportive environment. ADI-r: The Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) is a structured interview conducted with someone who has known you well since early childhood (e.g., a parent, sibling, long-term partner, or close friend). If no informant is available, the clinician will work with you directly to gather relevant historical information. The interview explores your developmental history, communication patterns, and social experiences from childhood to adulthood. This allows us to gain a detailed understanding of how your experiences align with autism criteria. Please note: A full screening or referral is needed in order for us to do an assessment as per NICE guidelines. You can access a screening through us for £100, another company or your GP. Referrals from GPs, psychologists and psychiatrists are accepted - we need the professional to email us the referral on info@thecognitivecollective.co.uk with a completed AQ10 and an outline of your traits.
